![]() On the player’s way to become the Pokemon Champion of the region, they will find out that the region’s champion (Alder) will be defeated by N. While it seems straightforward, the main antagonist of the storyline (Team Plasma) presents a different journey. With the steady storyline just like in the previous installments, the player is faced with multiple obstacles like securing all eight Gym Badges of Unova and eventually taking on the Elite Four and the region’s champion. Cheren will take the Pokemon that has an advantage over the player’s Pokemon while Bianca will pick a Pokemon that has a disadvantage over the player’s. The player’s pick would then also dictate Cheren and Bianca’s pick. The three starter Pokemons are Snivy (grass type), Tepig (fire type), and Oshawott (water type). Just like in the previous Pokemon games, the player will choose one of three starter Pokemon presented to them by Professor Juniper. In this series, the player now has two friends (Cheren and Bianca) who happen to also be rivals who will challenge the player every now and then. ![]() Throughout the course of the story, the user will encounter different trainers to battle with. Team Plasma’s political take on the series is that Pokemons are taken advantage of by humans and therefore, should be freed from trainers. The storyline follows a trainer’s journey to becoming the region’s Pokemon Champion while also taking on the installment’s antagonist: Team Plasma. While most regions in the previous installments are based on locations across Japan, the Unova model is based on New York City. ![]() The role-playing game is played on the classic third-person perspective and this time explores the Unova region. Being the first installment of the 5th generation of Pokemon games, the Pokemon White ROM Version comes to the Nintendo DS. ![]()
