![]() ![]() It is fun to portray Sathya who even fights with goons. Though I had a dupe, I chose to perform the scene to train myself for the tough role. I was warned by family, friends and the audience to be cautious while doing such stunts in the future.Īnother interesting scene was my intro video where I was chased by police for speeding my motorcycle. I was taken to a hospital after sustaining a back injury, but I rejoined the shoot after five days’ rest. Once during the escape, I had to jump from a one-storey building and accidentally toppled down, hitting my back. When I reached the ledge of the building, I was terrified but I wanted to perform the daredevil action. In real life, I am acrophobic and it was very challenging as I had to jump from one building to another. ![]() In the second episode, she had to escape from her home when she was locked up. I had to shed some weight and build some muscles to appear as the manly Sathya. In real life, I am more girly, and Sathya and I are poles apart. I am grateful to director Faisal for giving me the confidence to perform action sequences. What I like about the character is her naughtiness and her daredevilry. She is manly and bold, and has a mischievous streak. Sathya is a tomboy who owns an automobile workshop. You have been doing a lot of stunts from jumping from buildings to racing in motorcycles in the serial. It put pressure on me but as we are reaching the 50th episode, I feel assured that I am able to give justice to Sathya. For me, the challenge was to meet the expectations of the Malayalam crew as everyone was comparing my role to hers. ![]() I had watched one or two episodes of actress Ayesha’s role as Sathya in its Tamil version. ![]() I was super thrilled to sign in for Sathya Enna Penkutty. So, it was a surprise gift when the channel approached me for the Malayalam remake of Sathya. For a while, I regretted not being able to play the role of a tomboy. After Gowri, I got a Tamil serial named Agni Natchathira where I play a stubborn girl named Akhila and I was also approached for another Tamil project Sathya that I had to cancel because due to some inconvenience. Meanwhile, I had joined for a Bachelors degree in Sociology too. But it was a serial that lasted only a few days. After Ayalathe Sundari, I was part of the serial Gowri in 2018 in which I played the lead role of a person employed in a restaurant. I always look for exceptional roles, even if I have to wait for a while for such characters. ![]()
